I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Romance in Karlovy Vary. The historic charm of the building combined with modern amenities made for a good experience. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast buffet, which had an very nice variety of options. However, my room did not have air conditioning, making it uncomfortable on hot days without a fan.
